Trouble with Jig Masters

Has anyone else had a trouble with ordering from Jig Masters? I placed an order over a month ago for some Super Do’s and still have not received them. I’ve e-mailed them 3 times and have been told something different each time, like we have sent them sorry for the delay. The last two times I’ve contacted them, once by e-mail and once by phone, I have not even had a reply. They have cashed my check and I have nothing. I have the feeling I’ve been slipped the big one. Another learning experience. Trouble is, I could of bought a lot of beer with that money!!!!!

Well that’s a real stinky deal. I had a short conversation about this with the owner of B-Fish-N Tackle and he was real open to the idea of stocking Super-Dos… and actually shipping them once a guy paid for them…! What a concept, eh?!

Not that this does you any good with your situation, keep on them, I’m sure it will pan out eventually.

How many of you guys would be interested in seeing a multi-colored super-do kit offered by B-fish-N tackle? I’m fairly certain he could be pursuaded and I’m not real keen myself about re-ordering through Jigmasters after reading the problems you’ve had…. and my suplly is getting low too.

Anyone else have problems with Jigmasters?

Anyhoo…. if you guys are interested, chime in here and hopefully that will be enough to get B-Fish-N to stock these ‘dos’ for us. The louder the response we get, the more likely it is to happen.

Mine were too slow in arriving but not that bad! They held my check until they were mailed and sent me a “bonus” 5-inch pack for my troubles.

Nord, Sorry to hear about your delays with Jigmasters. This makes me think twice about ordering from them. I would like to tell you about a positive experience I just had with B-FISH-N-TACKLE though. I’ve read so much about “ring worms” and BEAVER’s article on ring worms really intrigued me. It sort of slapped me in the face and reminded me of an article from the Walleye-INSIDER regarding fishing plastics on a river system. Anyway …. I ordered a BEAVER Kit # 3 from B-FISH-N-TACKLE, Sent the check on Saturday and opened my package on Thursday. THANKS DAVE !!!

I would order “the DO’s” from Dave in a heart-beat if he has them. Drop him a line

I ordered some super-do’s from jigmasters quite some time ago and have’nt recieved them yet either. I’ll have to check into that!! If B-Fish-N starts to offer super-dos, they got my business. By the way, Beaver helped me a lot with the colors to order, Thanks again Beaver. SNAKEYES

I would be interested in trying the ‘do’s. I’ve got the ringworms from B-Fish-N and would like to keep the business “on the board”

I had trouble with them on my last two orders. It took multiple emails and 2 phone calls to have them finally ship me product, and when it came the order was not exactly as ordered (wrong colors and one pack of 25 was missing). I wold gladly buy from someone else, and my supply is not deep enough for the upcoming year.

    Ok….. Ok…. I hear you!

You do not have to hit me in the head to gey my attention….

    I’ll get you some ASAP!

Here are the Super Do’s colors that I have right now. I will be adding “newer and more wxciting colors” soon. But…. these I can have to you within a couple… to three weeks. I will check on availabel hot colors and get them into the WORMS banner site for the B-Fish-N Tackle Co. store.

Cost per 100pk is $21.00 plus $5.50 per pack shipping (and $7.50 shipping on two packs, MN residents have 6 1/2% tax to add on too….)

    Salt/Pepper

    Pumpkin/Pepper

    Brown/Orange

    Black/Pearl

    Catawba

    Rootbeer/Pepper

    Watermelon seed

    Pumpkin Peper/Chartreuse

    Electric Blue

    Electric Red Glitter

    Chartreuse Pepper

    Junebug

    Tequila Sunrise

I suggest that you order them up right now…. spring is getting real close!

Now I realize that many of you do not know about Super Do’s, or how to fish them…

The less you move them the better! You just “hover” them and let their “fingers” do the walking! Or you could call them “legs” too.

“Beaver” says there is no better walleye bait on a jig.

    James… well, he guides….perhaps he’ll tell you.

I’ll try to get you a close up picture here… to see a Super Do.

    Thanks…

    Nice picture Dave.

    There it is….the infamous Super-Do.

Though it shines as a vertical jigging plastic, it can also be cast on very light jig heads and allowed to ‘swim’ with the current.

Vertically speaking, use enough jig weight to get it to the bottom, then simply lift it an inch or two and let it flutter and hover as you drift with the current. Let it hover for a 5 count or more, then touch bottom again to make sure you are keeping it in the strike zone…..that is within six inches of the bottom. Don’t yo-yo it like you would a twister type tail.

I’m telling you guys, this is one fish catching piece of plastic. Though it excells in the spring, you can catch fish on it all year. Use it on the heavy head of a Dubuque Rig, pitch it shallow on wingdams on a light head and let it sweep. The less you do, the more it does.

I hate to blow my own horn, but go to ‘Articles’ and read ‘Totally Tubular’ and use it much in the same way that I describe to use a tube. The only difference is that you don’t stick the jig head inside of it.

    They really are SUPER!

hi to all, I also echo “the BEAV’S” sediment on the super do’s. he and I have fished them for years .the last two fall fishing excursions I was at on pool #6, accounted for an 81/2# and a9# both on super do’s pitching in to deep water and working up the face of a deep 18′ top wingdam with the L-323 color. And yes they also work extremely well when just hovered to let the tenacles undulate. it’s a nice streamline tube that still represents plenty of bulk , to the big “piggies” liking. hope someone can come up with a dependable supplier and “good” color selection.>> good hooksets, hairjig

    Fishhunt58,

I happen to be out of Superdo’s right now. “Smitty1” bought the last five hundred packs he had on hand today!

I have plenty of Ringworms left (cause “Smitty1”) did not buy all those.

I have a suggestion to you guys in the Walleye Searchers Club. Make up an order for your entire club, at the next meeting. I will fill the order and have them to you by the next Walleye Searchers meeting. Your guys can split up the order at that meeting. You can expect the order to take about two to three weeks. I can ship the order to you or deliver to the meeting in March!

    Heads up!

Better order your Do’s now as they are going to get very hard to come by and it gets closer to opener.

Dave, Any chance that you will create a favorites kit similar to the ringworms? It would sure help us rookies who are new to the plastics game!

Yep, I am working with “Beaver” to put together a Super Do Kit for B-Fish-N Tackle Co.

I suggest you not wait for the kit, as it may be some time before I can get it going (depends on what colors are available that he may choose).

I checked on his choices on colors that I do now have available… his picks were:

    Electric Blue

    Chartreuse Pepper

    Tequilla Sunrise

    Junebug

    Thanks,

    Hawger

Well H20, I finally received my Super Do’s after waiting over a month. What took so long I don’t know, no explanation, but a least I have them.

Hey, all interested parties….if you have any questions or concerns about Super-Dos, don’t hesitate to ask here or send me a PM, I’ll be glad to help you out.

As Dave mentioned, some of my favorites are listed in his selection right now. You couldn’t go wrong with any of those colors. Some of the laminates are awesome, but we’re not sure about availability right now.

So if you’ve got questions….ask. It’s the only way to learn and eliminate guesswork. I’d be more than happy to help you out.

I couldn’t find a 100 ct. price but at 12/$3.45…. you paid a premium. I just talked to Hawger and he’ll have a fresh supply in 4 days at a fraction of that.

    I’d wait.

    Hey Beav,

Do you prefer the salted or unsalted Do’s? I gotta try some. If I’ve learned one thing here, it’s that a method or bait recommended on this site IS going to produce, usually big! Thanks Beav, Rooster

I do not pour them, I only re-sell them.

I am only “out” till I get my next shipment, which should be next Thursday… I want your business next time! Please do consider me again. I try hard to be the best… better than the rest!
