16.25′ at Lansing & finally beginning to creep down.

DeSoto town landing pictured (#2). When I say we’re launching from the parking lot ~ I’m not kidding. You can see the dock in the distance at the actual landing.

There are three small ponds on the east side of Hwy 35 here in DeSoto. Cottonwood Park borders the 1st pond. Playground equipment is getting a “bath” as my 2 1/2 year old puts it. Pond two is the largest of the three. Fishing pier is wader accessible.

The water clarity in your photos is amazing considering how much rain fell in such a short amount of time.

Thanks for taking the time to post those up. I would imagine once the water levels start to fall this week they’ll go fast.
