Keep an eye on the flood from this webcam. Mississippi River through downtown St Paul. Changes view every 30 seconds. (Hit your F5 key to refresh if it does not update automatically) Several different angles mostly of Raspbery (Navy) Island.

Anyone up for fishing Raspberry Island? Looks like some wicked current seams!

I just walked down there at lunch, there is a real nice current break on the back end of that island. Is that Rasberry Island or Navy Island?

Now, I just need a rod that can cast 70 yards.

Went over the bridge down there twice today. Waiting for them big tugs they got tied up down there to start drifting into down town St Paul.

Stopped by 494 landing. The road is closed but I think only for today. Local cop told me the water is just about up to the stairs at the landing.

I just got back from the downtown airport,we are setting up for the potential flood. We have water on two of the south taxiways right now.Holman Field Air traffic closed down at 1:00 PM today.

Here are two of our latest pumps we recently purchased.

Discharge rate for each pump is 16,000 GPM
(Yes thats 16,000 Gallons per minute)

Will the airport run ways be open for fishing? I remember Dean Ross telling me about catching carp on the run ways.
