Have they or will they close the river for this weekend? If so, what parts?

    Dave,

Last March they closed the 494 access (barricades) and I know the SPP has closed Lion’s as well. There was a sign down there earlier this week stating that the road was going to be closed on 30 September, I’m assuming for road work. I’ll try and get down there and lunch time today and see what’s going on.

Unfortunately, I see a line of rainstorms sweeping toward RedWing from Shell Lake as we speak on radar…

Dave. They may be some public landings closed but I highly doubt the river will be closed.

Ramps may close but the river is always open. I’ll be out again this Friday, Saturday and with any luck Sunday.

I’ve moved to higher ground to avoid the headache of moving at the last minute.

BTW- There’s a bag of Sturdiwheat Cajun fish coating with your name on it waiting for you.

The nice thing about flooding this time of year as it’s only a 6 inch ride compared to 6 feet that is normal for locking through this time of year.

    Silver lining you know…
