Good job guys. I like to come in at a little higher angle than that, but perfect landing.

I really like the part about the mouthpiece.

How long of a boat was that? I had a 17 footer that loaded OK but my 20 footer is a handfull in curent

With a 20 or 21 footer, a person would be closer to the trailer which would make the “turn” into the trailer easier.

I asked Steve to stay out a ways to ensure he didn’t line up perfectly. That way he had to use the motor to correct his alignment on the trailer as many of us would have to.

    Hope that helps.

Good loading Steve, I can see you’ve done it a few times. I also turn my trailer at about a 45 degree angle to the down river side and put my boat on that way too, if the waters really rippin through its even easier then a straight in approach. What really helps is carpeted sideboards that the sides of the boat can run against, throttle up and it slides right on.
