taken the family to pool 9 this weekend, wanted to know wheree the water levels are. are the sandbars showing? kids want to play in the sand. not worried to much about the fishing. just a funn trip. and what is a normal pool level? thanks for the response
Where are you located on pool 9? They got like 3 inches of rain this week so the river is running on the high side with a ton of weeds coming down again. There is a giant sand dune just north of Lansing on the Iowa side. There are always boats sitting there. Hopefully this helps, Dan

The dunes are 2 miles down river from there on the right.
Just to let you know. The big dredging equipment is working in that area right now.
couple weeks ago there was a whole bunch of grass and weeds comin down
