    How does a guy get a boat into blue lake? Is there a secret landing or is it accessible by backwaters?

    Yes, there’s a private access to it. Not sure what they charge any more though. It’s the house on the right side heading east just before the used car lot.

    It used to be Allen’s boat livery I believe.

    Thanks Tom….I remember that house. Do they actually have gravel there or is it a 4WD required kinda ramp.

    Blue lake is the body of backwater south of hwy 16 on your way from LaCrescent to LaCrosse.

    Blue Lake can offer some pretty good Panfish action. I’ve had great luck in there chasing ‘gills.

    I’ve also got into some nice panfish in blue lake…gills and specs too.

    Every year during the hard water season it gets a few guy wet
