Anyone else encountered the local Sheriff in Red Wing? He seems to be out on the River quite often with the warm weather. He won’t budge on registration stickers even though the state is slow in sending them out.
Saw him out three weeks ago – also saw him write 3 tickets for expired registration
I was at the Court house in Winona last Friday for my car tabs and asked for the second time about the Expired Registration. I was told not to worrie about it they are really slow but some are starting to make there way out. I would be really ticked off if I got a ticket after 2 attempts at doing this correctly and being told, by the state, in essence to wait for my info in the mail.
I bought my stickers in Winona a month ago. Just walked in with the boat info and “No Problem”. The renewal forms from the State just came a couple days ago.
