Subject: Rock Island District Miss River Lock Status 7-24-10
Additional heavy rainfall in the past 24 hours has increased forecasted crest
levels at our locks. Based on the latest forecast, we expect lock closures
at Locks 13, 16, 17, 20, and possibly 21. Lock 13 is expected to close
Monday and reopen Tuesday, Locks 16 and 17 are expected to close Wednesday and reopen Saturday, and Lock 20 is epxected to close next Saturday and reopen the following Tuesday.
