If anybody was planning on taking a trip to pools 11 and below better hold off for a week or two. They say record flooding levels here in the Mississippi Pool 14, Quad Cities, especially the Rock River. Lake George will be busy for a while. Lake Storey too!

Im on the rock in Machesney Park and the river finally crested July 31 at just under 13 feet. Normal summer level is 5.5 feet and the closest we’ve come so far this summer is 6 feet.
The good news is the water is dropping faster than typical after a major flood.
I was thinking about going to pool 9 at lansing but it seems they have high water also.
