    As an invasive species biologist, sometimes I feel like I am at the gates of Gondor with the orcs and Oliphants coming in through the cracks and breaking down the doors.

    Ask you congressman to support the Non-indigenous aquatic invasive species act (NAISA). It will make your efforts to avoid the spread of these animals easier. The act will help slow the introduction of new species and help to combat those that are already here.
