What’s your go to jig and plastic? If you had to carry one in your boat for the whole day, what would it be?

Mine would be a 1/4 oz black H2O jig with a Char/pearl K-Grub Caught some nice eyes on this combo.

I am sitting here doing inventory on the tackle box and was wondering what jig head color and weight have you had success with other than black. I discovered plastics since reading the board and am learning all the time.

I like to use an 1/8 ounce jig with a white or chart. twister tail or ringie. I started using nuckle ball jigs last year and I really like them. My jigheads are mostly chart. white or black.

This time of the year up fishing the dam on pool 4 I would be using a 3/8 Grn/Char Zone-R and a superdoo!!!
The end of Dec is the last time I fished, but the last few times I went out green and orange were my best colors.

Summer thru fall the goto color would be 1/4 Glow blue nuckle ball and a ringie this last fall that was my Lucky setup!

This fall for me it was the oystershell ringworm on a black H2O head… size dependant on depth and current. For some reason that pattern was just unbeatable for me on most of my trips out.

I would have to say that a black jig head coupled with a Electric Blue with Pearl tail ringworms took alot of fish for me this past fall.

3/16 oz black H2O jig with a “Smoke” K-Grub. Hard to beat during the cold water months! Purple/white ringworm has been good to me this past week!

Black 3/16oz or 1/8oz H2O precision head with the oyster shell ringie was my best this last fall.

If I had to pick just one for all situations? Well……….I couldn’t do it, but anything purple would be right up there for sure

6- 8 days and BFT will have in a HUGE supply of all sizes and colors. They switched manufacturers to ensure a more consistent supply… in an attempt to keep up with demand. And now, due to the increase in numbers being purchased, the price is rumored to be going down by quite a CHUNK. And I hear BFT plans to add the glitter heads in time for the spring run on the river. I’ll holler here on this post when that shipment arrives. I literally run myself out of all my favorite colors and sizes just as I called it quits for the season this last fall. I need a fresh restock on the 3/32 and 3/16th as bad as anyone.

Hey James have you heard of any plans to add a 1/16 oz. size to the lineup of H20 jigs?
    Thanks!

Yup… should have it soon. My understanding is the new mold for the 1/16th is “in the works.”

Any plans for BFT to offer jigs in great quantities than 10?

I’ll second that question Tom! 25 packs would be great!

I would like to see packs containing like 2 each of the different colors in both the Jigs and the Plastics. This would be good for us guys that like to try different color combinations, but can’t put out the $$$$$ for a dozen big packs of each.
