I fished the tourney on Sat with Marshall (wimwuen) We caught lots of fish Just not legal walleyes We ended up with 1 legal eye 15.5 inches 1.19 lbs We caught pitching blades to a current seam. We struggled to keep the non- target species off our hooks so after a few texts Blue Fleck and his dad were on their way down to rid the river of some whitebass Ok back to the tourney it took a 3 lb walleye to cash a check and 8.64 won. But then the mystery fish drawing everyone who weighed a fish was entered they put you down in ordered you weighed in They drew # 93 and we were #91 $1100.00 But all in all it wasn’t the nicest day on the river (it rained really hard in the morning) But we made the most of it and I had a blast thanks Marshall

Whitebass are fun to catch unless your in a walleye tourney

As far as attendance goes I’ve heard this is the largest event on the river. How many entered this year?
Sounds like the whitebass fishing would have been fun.

There’s usually about 500 or so entrants. The winner had 8.64 and second was 8.14. They paid 40 places and 40th was 3.02.
