Does the newest ramp up river from Half Moon have an official name ?

Not that I know of. I have always referred to it as the West Newton landing. I thought it was supposed to be temporary during the draw down, but it has been around for a few years now.

Is the old West Newton now Half Moon? Josh, have you been down to West Newton this Spring ,just was wondering what shape it was in? Thanks

Half Moon is the original ramp that has been there as long as I can remember. Half Moon was closed recently due to high water, but it may be open now. I have not been down that way yet this spring so I can’t give you an update. I usually drive to the WI side and launch in Alma during the early spring.
