Me, my bro and my cousin out on Pool 3 on 03/28 to test out a boat we just bought, the water is pretty high, it was all the way up to the trailer parking area but the launch was good to go!!! there were a few boats out there with us. we threw everything at em, i guess they weren’t active or the wind + current made us drift too fast to keep our baits in the strike zone. after the wind died down we managed to get 1 short 14 1/2 walleye in the boat and my bro hooked up with a carp. we saw one boat pull up a short eye also. we were fishing from the railroad bridge, drifting down back to the launch. it hit a jig-head with a chartreus grub about 6-7 inches off the bottom deadstickin’ as you drift. both eyes were caught by the first dock (restraunt) by the R.R. bridge. our first time out there this year fishing from a boat, so 1 fish aint bad for Sippi newbies. atleast we didnt get skunked -mo
Pool 3… slow
