I stopped to gab with Dean today and took a few pictures. Lots of boats launching from the resort and getting high water pointers from Dean. The East lot is wet but it appeared everybody found a place to park, including one guy up on top of the hill. The crest is past so it should only get better.

Still a ton of debris in the river today. From the Vermillion to the dam wasn’t bad, but below the Vermillion was terrible. Tons of logs, grass, trees, branches and even a couple moved and submerged buoy markers. Keep an eye on things out there. 20 MPH seems to be about as fast as you want to push it. That gave me plenty of time to react to garbage in the water.

I landed in Red Wing at the park. The landing there is in good condition with plenty of parking. I hate to take business away from Dean, but I didn’t want to wrestle with landing in the current and possibly not have a place to park. Lot’s of trucks at the park though. I’d say 50 -75 rigs parked there today.
