Do I have to say it…THE WATER IS HIGH… Ramp next to the building is very usable. Fishing was nothing to write home about, but is sure was a nice day……. That is how the fishing went for me. I don`t have a thing to write about.

Looks like it will get worse. I was looking at dam #5, and the water flow was about 20,000 more CFS. Still a lot of water to come down. I was a bit surprised this weekend with all the creeks around here (South-Central WI). They are dropping and all the major standing water is gone.

Does anyone have an idea of how much snow is yet to melt and come down from the headwaters?

    Randy:

Don’t really know how much has to come down from MN, but all of our snow is virtually gone. Any snow to the north of us will end up in Lake Superior for the most part. All of our ice has honeycombed now and is just awaiting more sun, wind, rain or a combo of all of the above. Another week without major precipitation should see things settling down I would think… I know on the early news they were happy to announce all of the sand bagging that they did on the Red River kept major damage from happening, it had crested and was on its way down. Hopefully they have dodged a bullet that didn’t get by them last year!!!
