    What a nice surprise she was this morning! 38 inches caught on med/light rod with 6 l.b. mono while verticle jigging with a paddle tail. The highlight of the day with the walleye/sauger bite being pretty tough.

    Awesome fish!
    It didn;t have a firecracker paddle stuck in it’s tail by chance did it???? I snagged a fish On friday but didn’t get to see it.

    That’s one of the benefits of fishing the river, you never know where those “bonus fish” are going to show up. Of course you never know what they will be either

    Yeah, that’s what I like about the river. You catch the same thing the other guys are fishing for and get tank size fish along the way.
