Fished Green Island last Sunday through the ice. Some of the ditches I usally travel with the quad were unpassible. I asked an old fellow at the landing about it and he said the DNR was draining the bottoms for planting vegetation in spring and that there was a petition going around. I later seen this petition at Bellvue. It stated that the bottoms just weren’t just for ducks and they should keep more water for fish. I know for a fact that the fishing was excellent 20 years ago, now you hit mud in most of those areas. I’d like to here more info on this . Mark
