Just noticed that the first AHPC predictions are starting to roll out for rivers in out area. Nothing out for the Mississippi, yet, but all of this rain/snowmelt is gonna go somewhere.

Yep, I live 8 miles S.E. of Chatfield. Water is just starting to run here. Colverts are starting to open and lot of standing water in fields thats starting to move. Where I live it all goes to the Root but I would imagine its like that all over.

The Mississippi down here has come up 1.6 ft. since yesterday and is expected to rise 2.3 ft. by tomorrow. Floods are on their way.

I noticed some heavy mud lines starting to show up on Pool 5 this afternoon around some of the tributaries below the power plant. Many of the smaller streams in the area are starting to rise quite a bit.

A ton of ice flowing in the river here in Wabasha. I assume its comming comming out of the Chippiwa. The Zumbro is running high and muddy at Kellogg. Check the conditions befor you make a long drive.
