    Hi,
I was wondering what would be the best line? I mainly fish for bass and walleyes on the Mississippi River with baitcasters. I don’t want to break the bank either. Thank you for your comments. Brock

What kind of techniques do you use mostly? That will make a big differnce in what kind of line you would want???

The presentations for Bass and Walleye require totally different set ups for me…
Look at the actions and line weight limitations printed on your rods. Working Frogs/Jigs in the slop for Bass requires a lot different line than casting #7 Shad Raps for Walleye.
We need you to be more specific…

If i were you, if you’re fishing around grass or wood or grass and wood, go with 30-50 lb power pro, you can get away with it on the river with the colored water. For anything else id go with some sort of fluorocarbon, i like seaugar and trilene 100%

    Hi again,
Thanks for some info. I mainly throw cranks, sinnerbaits, swimjigs, and frogs. Thats about it.
