Starting this week predicted highs ranging from 27 to 34 degrees Wednesday through the following Monday. It doesn’t look like the bottom is gonna drop out either. I’m gonna keep an eye on it. The river has refroze since the last cold snap; but I doubt it will take long to open up again.

I wouldn’t break out the ice chisels Wednesday, but Friday or Saturday might be a possibility. I’m thinking of getting some practice on pool 4 midweek to be ready for the pool 2 Grand Re-Opening.

Lets get the spuds and saws alls out there and open her up.

With the higher sun and warmer temps I bet she will be open by next weekend

I need to get my string pulled by a Pool 2 Eye!!!!

Would be nice, but not going to get my hopes up yet.

it was fishable for about 3-4 days during that last stretch if we could have gotten that launch worked over with a chain saw.
If anyone is headed down to work on it…feel free to call me and if I can help I will.

Lousy long range forecasts! Now they are saying low 30’s Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and back into the low 20’s Sunday foreward. I gotta stop getting sucked into longrange forecasts that I like.

Groundhog saw his shadow today … so that won’t help.
