open water fishing/lake pepin

    sounds like there is some great fishing on pool 4 this time of year.is there ice fishing there also(on lake pepin?)and if i bring a boat..will i find the fish..or are they tough to locate.(i am picking up a map today).any comments would be great…thanks..tom

    There is good ice on Pepin right now. I haven’t had much luck for the ‘eyes on the lake lately. I’d stick to the upper area. If you launch out of Evert’s you can talk to Steve. He will put you on the fish. Good luck.
