Here’s another dandy article sent out to us by Jim “Beaver” Slivinski covering keys to being successful casting crankbaits for walleye on the Mississippi River. Definitely well written and a cool photo as well.

Be sure to check this one out.

Great article Beav. Lots of things I practice now. Lots of things I’ll practice this coming season. I’ll have to see if I can master that lure-freeing technique you describe.

Good job Beaver !!! Keep up the good work. I thought your article on cranks was great along with your articles on hair jigs and ringworms.

You’re welcome guys. Glad you enjoyed it and I hope that you will put what you’ve learned into practice in the upcoming year.

Your thanks is what makes it all worth it.

Excellant article Beav! I wish I would have read it a couple years ago, would have saved me a lot of trial and error! I like your idea of a fourth rod for a rattletrap. I’ve used 3 quite often, but never thought of that! Even the shallowest of my lipped baits hang up on the top of some of my favorite dams. I’ll try that next year! Lots of other great pointers too!
