Cold Weather and Broken Rods?

    OK, I have heard this one said many times:

    The graphite rods will break in cold weather.

    Has anyone ever had this happen? Under what conditions did this occur? How cold was it?

    Another quick question, for rain gear I have seen some “Mad Dog” breathable for about $109 looks and feels like cloth, noise reduction or something like that. Has anyone used this and how was it?

    Hey Haywood, last year I got a set of RainShield gear, very light weight. I got mine from a Bass pro, who can get them drop shipped to you, they are about 80 bucks, and fit into one draw string bag. top with hood, and bibs or pants. I like them. let me know if you want the guys number. Jack.
