pool 13 browns ???

    while ice fishing today on a local lake a guy said a friend had went to pool 13 ice fishing and caught them in browns lake i asked did he keep them he said no he gave them away and some one else took them home

    now if i rember right browns is catch and release only or is this only to bass fisherman or just during open water months

    i know the state of iowa was using browns for alot of reserch for the bass

    dusty….upper and lower browns is catch release but only for bass…all other fish are open…
