I think it’s an IA. state law that if we get a nice warm weekend I will be on call for work. That means B can’t leave town….or go fishing. I would love to hear any reports from anyone who got out today…Good Luck!!……..B

Isn’t that just the way it goes? Look on the bright side, there was such a crowd that 1 more person would have probably collapsed the ice.

We fished MacBride, and for once we did pretty darned well. Between the two of us, we caught about a dozen crappies, and three catfish. The only walleyes we caught were really small. First time I’ve ever caught a catfish through the ice.

Here’s a fishin report for ya. My brother-in-law and I headed out to fish below the tube at Coralville Res yesterday morning. Ramp was iced in. No way. Now what? Off to Clinton. Ninty miles later guess what, Yup Iced in both ramps. Twas a nice drive over and back. However we did manage to get a line wet. We stoped at Palisades state park on highway 30 and managed to toss a ring worm and tube around for a bit. Burned up a tank of truck gas and didnt get the boat wet. Oh well, should have went to Everts.
