Eyes did not cooperate on wing dams yesterday. So we ended up trolling cranks in a sand pit down river from Comanche. Ended up with 2 northern pikes, one 31 inches 2 nice crappie and white bass. It was a good day, although the big pike decided to gash my left thumb with crank bait hooks. Ouch! 
Had the crank out of its mouth, then one last major flip in the net and I ended up getting hooked. No hooks left in my thumb, in and ripped out by the pike. 
Ended up with 5 stiches. Pike will end up as poor mans lobster today!
