Hit the river at 4:45, nice and calm head out to fish some wingdams. The 1st stop produced a few bull gills and few small rock bass, drifting nightcrawler into face of wing. Moved south and decided to hit a rock bank with some cranks. It didn’t take long and a short eye hit my sunfish crank and the next cast I was greeted with a 32″ pike. We follwed that up with a few smallies and a miss. Continued south to fish a few more wingdmas before I had to go. Ended with 12 gills a cat and the pike. Beautiful this a.m. noticed that water temp had dropped 6 deg from a weekago.
Good luck
