Rumor at the bass tourney today was that there were up to 13 “markers” at one time.

    Glad no one was hurt.

Pictures? That would have been worth it to sit on the bar with a lawn chair and cooler

Those bass guys are some crazy dudes After spending some time this weekend stuck on the sand and feeding the river another prop I am done running the back channel till we get some more water. At this point the sand is shifting enough and it is getting so shallow that it is just plain tricky to get it right if it is possible at all. I did not see ANYONE make it all the way through at power this weekend when I was in eyesight of it and that was quite a while In conversations with several river rats at Evert’s this weekend the general consensus was that they were avoiding running the back channel till conditions get better.

The water is at August levels right now. Third driest May on record must have really hurt the river.

Was that because it took me so long to get out of the boat and in the water to push us off the sand because I dont recall fishing around there to long
