Additionally, everyone seems very open to sharing which is quite nice – not all sites are like this. Hope everyone has a St Croix by their Xmas tree this year.. LOL

My heartfelt thanks go out to all of you who have shared information so willingly. Hope to meet more of you on the water next year !
Merry Christmas to All !……BDecember 21, 2001 at 6:37 pm #235812Happy Holidays to all you guys (ditto to allthe good words above). James and Steve, you guys have a great website here and are doing all of us river fisherman a real service. I have learned things about river fishing I had no idea were possible from this site, and my year of fishing (mostly pool 4) was the best ever. Gear, tackle, knots, technique…..just an awesome site and great people offering good ideas, tips and pointers. I display my FTR decal proudly on the windshield of my boat, it’s just the best.
December 22, 2001 at 4:09 am #235825I think one of the coolest gifts I’ve been given this year is all the memories that surround FTR, it’s administrators, reporters, and patrons. I’m hoping that the gift I feel from all of you is equally shared among you. We’ve all shared a lot this year…………..from faceless posts and opinions to a “brotherhood” of fellow Americans that share a common passion. We’ve come to know each other, learn and grow together, and participate in a special bond that has been created by our similarities. Our memories have become intertwined through this website and it’s extraordinary! I just think it’s awsome how many days and ways I have seen this group caring about the sport, the site, a fellow angler, and offering help, no matter the issue.
James………….Steve………………this is the giving season, but you have been giving to us throughout this entire year! I don’t think there are enough words to list all the benefits and “warm fuzzies” that have been received through your sacrifices. I know you get tired. I’m sure some days it’s hard to keep going. But, in it’s smallness……………..in it’s dwarfing incomparability………..I’m hoping some sincere gratitude from this one still voice can make you feel………………..even if only for a moment…………….like it’s all worth it, and giving something special to you as well.
Thank You……………..Thank You……………..Thank You!
December 22, 2001 at 5:39 am #235826I echo the Pups thoughts……. certainly Ive learned much here, but the true treasure are the great people associated with this endeavor, each and everyone…….
