The water is on the up and up as they opened the rollers at the dam all the way yesterday around 9 am. The river is expected to crest on April 2nd with stage at 11.6′ to 12.6′ (I cant remeber exactly which one). The stage yesterday at 8am was 8′ but quickly on the rise. Water temps were dropping from near 40 degrees to 34 degrees.

Use caution when traveling the river as complete trees, logs, and many other forms of debris are floating downstream.

This high water is going to set up for a great bite if we could just get the water temps and the weather to cooperate

I agree 100 percent because we just finished a couple of days at Evert’s with a tough bite and some trees and stumps starting to show up yesterday so please be careful. The fish are there but it was not quite time yet………..

Last year during high water conditions down in Missouri, I saw trees that would destroy a boat.. ..so if you venture out be careful…we certainly don’t want to hear any bad news…

Welcome to IDA Walleye Slayer! I was down yesterday and it was down right terrible for us. One 19″ sauger all day!
