Pool 7 Trempeleau Landing

    I went by the landing on Monday, it was all most open but with this cold weather. Does anyone know if it did open up.

    Not sure about the Tremp. landing. I do know before this cold snap, you could have put in at the Dresbach landing and run north. Not so much now.

    It was open. Then almost froze up. It is open. There is a big sheet that keeps floating in and out. It seems to keep getting caught up on something.

    Open and usable.Still a lot of floating ice in bay.Parking lot was almost full.

    Thanks guys may head down tommorrow, Hit pool 5 today Saturday was a awfully slow bite only three short fish all day.

    I have been waiting for that cat for months. Was on 7 today Sunday pulling three ways short fish only. Water did start to warm up though 33.5. Be darn careful lots of stuff coming down river ice, logs branches etc.

    We made it out on Tuesday and found a few fish.
    2 keeper’s, 1@16″ and 1@19″, and a whole pile of dinks.
    Water temp was 39 and had a few floaters coming down.
    We got checked by the DNR and he said we were the only ones with anything legal in the boat.
    Ringworms, hair, and twister tails with no meat worked for us.

    I am pumped to get down to 7 this weekend . Sure do wish Redwing wasn`t so darn far. If you happen to see a Crestliner 182TS with Merc Opti on back stop and say HOWDY.

    Looks like you will need waders by tomorrow to use the docks.I still do not know why they never elevated the lot at this landing.It gets a lot of use.

    Using the side channel is at your risk,seen quite a few boats get stuck.

    I would NEVER pay to use the upper landing
