Pool 5 Alma power plant landing open?

    Is the landing in Alma by the power plant on Pool 5 open? I was contemplating fishing in this nicer weather this weekend.

    Sure is. Yhere may be a little ice around after this weeks cold but a little traffic should break it up.

    About 10 boats put through this morning already…WE broke it all up yesterday and put salt down, etc…Thank Lee at Bait store for doing that it was his dollar..

    The landing at West Newton is iced in, ther is a solid sheet of ice 40 feet out from shore. Ther is also a 6 inch lip at the bottom of the ramp. I’m guessing it will open up sometime this weekend with the 50-60 degrees forecasted. DG

    Better yet, Chip in a couple bucks to him. I know what he spent to get it open and it wasn’t cheap.
