Alma Are the ramps open?

    any one on here no if the ramps are open? Im sure the landing intown is still froze! What about Belvidere?

    any one driving by or if you have put in let me know! Thanx!

    THe Alma landing is not open yet….But the Belvidere landing is…Couple boats out this weekend on Pool 5 but not sure of results…I will be out every day this week once the wind dies down…

    How far up river can you go. Is it open to the dam.

    Just drove by this morning, looks to be open for about a half mile below the dam, not sure where the launch is, lots of eagles on the ice where there is still ice south of town.

    Stopped by the landing on Sun.2/15 & there were 3 boats out.Noticed 1 was fishing & 2 boats loading containers of carp into a semi at the landing.West side of landing had been broke open from the fine gents.netting carp although the whole area had filled in with ice chunks that floated downriver as they eddy around right there.With the colder temps at night I would assume the landing bay will freeze up again but it should break loose again if we get the warmer day time temps.Im giving it about 2 more weeks then see you on the river!

    No fishing involved here today. Took a grand tour with my boys stopping here then going up 35 to P4.Seen 8 rigs parked at the WI channel landing & had to swing by Everets to see or hear what the bite had been.Let the boys make a few casts off the dock & continued on our way.Finishing our day with a little ice fishing on Menomin.Dropped a camera down around some cribs & numerous panfish were there.Had 1 hugemongous Crappie up right away & wasnt thinking clearly,lifting him through the hole on 2lb test. Now I had a wet arm trying to catch that lil bugger before he gave his last tail wag back where he came from with my jig in his mouth. Then my youngest decided to make the big step into a hole up as far as he could get. Well lets just say our day was finished. But Menomin will see another adventure in the near future.
