I was just wodering if anyone out there heard of the potential banning of Go-Devil motors. The reason for this is that I have heard personally from a CO, because of all of the vegetation they continue to rip up. He noted that people could go to acres and acres of place that conventional motors couldn’t reach and that was a huge reason for the potential ban and vegetation depletion. Any info would be appretiated.

Would not suprise me at all. I know they are very concerned about the vegitation in the upper pools. Too bad tho, the go-devil types of motors are very usefull.

I don’t really think you will see that happening anytime soon. At least I hope not. I a have been running one for 8 or 9 years now. They do now more damage than an outboard who is boring through the vegetation or the guys going through it with there trolling motors. Now they might put restriction on where you can go with them, but then why would you want one. I won’t say never but not in many many moons. Air boats will go before mudmotors.

    Just my thoughts,
