    No kidding

    Snagged some line and it had about a10″waterdog

    tangled in it.Was only dead for maybe a couple days.

    No sign of hooks,don’t think it was bait.Is it possible Waterdogs live in the river??????

    Looked like a salamander with a eel tail.

    I’ve caught several in pool 4 and one in the St Croix. All jigging. Been a while since the last one. Can’t remember if they bit the jig or if I snaged them on the chin.

    how do you expect to catch fish if your dredging up all that debris from the bottom..waterdog yea yea have you seen the Pepin monster it is a smaller relative to loch nessie…

    We caught a couple down at the Ford Dam last fall. We never caught them there before so getting two in one day was pretty interesting. Heres a picture -Rick

    yeah mudpuppies live in the croix and the Miss and yeah.. they DO bite…. they eat minnows too….. or just about any other kind of live bait…….
