Auto logon

Did this feature disappear? I have to logon everyday now…used to be able to have it happen automagically. I’m probably missing something in the profiles…

Nope. I dont think so. I think the cookie that auto logs people on got smoked (which is normal) because I just did a major upgrade to this system yesterday. One of the necessary evils of upgrading. I never have problems with logins because I always know mine. I simply use one I cant forget. So I dont really worry about logins.

Ive been wrong before but that is what I think. A new cookie file should be written to your pc once you login here allowing for auto logging again.

If you were on-line yesterday during the update, your setting got deleted. Then again later I think they were re-set.

Looks to be working OK from this point forward.

One more thought…. After entering the Message Board (at the Main Index window) if you don’t see that you are logged in, hit your F5 key. That should kick in the auto log in.

Sometimes I know who I am and then there are times I forget…

Guess I’m just one of those guys who likes to have the ‘puter do the work for me if possible. Must have got caught by the upgrade as the autologon is working for me now.

So far 3 different people have informed me that auto-logon does not appear to work and they all have the MSN Internet Dialup Service. Their appears to be some sort of conflict with MSN and Auto Logon. I will try and get this fixed on or before our next upgrade. Sorry for any inconvenience.
