Yamaha motors

    Just wondering if anyone out there has a 4 stroke Yamaha 60 , and what they think of it? Does anyone know if the Mer 60 is really a Yamaha:

    My father and a good friend of mine both have Pro 60s (96-98 years) and like them a lot. Always start, run quite, troll down decent. Nice motors.

    We haven’t even got them in yet here at lacannes. they are on backorder. Wish the would have put the efi on them but im sure they will be a good motor.

    Being the Service Manager/Lead Tech at a Evinrude, Johnson, and Yamaha dealership, that the Yamaha motors are out selling the others two to one or better. And another fact to consider is when the other brands of motors go out the door,I know they will be back for one or several problems,whereas I rarely ever see the Yamahas back except for routine maintenance.
