Wisc Back Channel?

Is the Wisc Channel on Pool 4 runnable? On a related note, has the water level come up at all in the last couple of weeks?

The water levels on pool 4 have remained about the same in the last 1 and a half months. If anything, they have fallen instead of being on the rise. I have not been on the river for 2 weeks but the water level is the same as the last trip I was out there by looking at the stage and flow web site. The back channel is runable if you know exactly where to go, if not you will be pushing. I know since the last time you and I fished together last year it has changed and if you run it the same way there will be trouble for you. the worst place is right up river from the cabins. The best way to run this area is to stay right in the middle of the channel and shoot for the 3rd dock in the water. It is hard to explain in writing but that is the best I can do. If you run it, keep the boat on plane and don’t let up until your burried.
