I camped next to my duck blind in some back water Friday night. Didn’t get much sleep. The fish kept me awake all night. Perhaps it was the moon or perhaps it is just normal backwaters this time of year. It was almost like the water was boiling with little fish. Carp were rolling pretty steady and every 3 to 5 minutes a massive splash, had to be northerns and bass. I could see some of them comming clear out of the water. The biggest action seemed to be between midnight and 4 am. Like I said, didn’t get much sleep but sure was fun just watching and listening.
Try late night?
