Hand lineing Questions?

After fishing the MTT down on the river this weekend I am considering buying some hand lineing equiptment if I were to fish it again.Who do you think makes the best ones?I saw some at the bait shop down there that looked pretty good but I cant remember the name.Also wondering when using these are people dragging the weight on the bottom or have it just off the bottom?And do most people run cranks on these and do they run more than one at a time?Just trying to get a general idea on how these work.Thanks
