Pool #4 first barge?

    Does anybody know how to find out when the first barge is going to go through pool 4?

    I saw a post on this a few weeks back . If I remember correctly because of THICK ICE conditions on Lake Pepin barges wouldnt be coming up river until the second week of April unless we had some serious warm weather, rain and wind all at once to melt that ice. Check the Army Corps Eng. web site maybe they’ll have the info you are looking for

    Rumor has it there was a barge on 9 last week. But maybe they tied off or only went to Winona or who knows.

    i’ve yet to see my first barge I don’t know why, the river is clear all over the place down this way. Maybe they went through my area at night?
