Sorry guys for the lack of reports. Most of my time has been on pool 4. Fishing tournaments(finished 7th in MWC this weekend) and helping people fishing the RCL. I will be back on Pool 5 on Sunday with a detailed report. Start at the dam jigging or trolling if nothing happens there head down to the cut by buffalo city and troll through them. Early morning and late afternoon has been good for my younger brother. He hammered a 26″ on a #11 stick bait while casting to a shallow sand flat. I will have that picture up at the end of the week.

One of my friends stopped me last night while I was crossing the road and said that pool 5 is on fire. (I can’t believe he didn’t hit me 
) Anyway, he said he concentrated on side cuts and on Lakes that empty into the main channel, and put a 1 man limit of 20″+ fish in the boat. He was only out for a few hours. The best thing I can tell anyone is look for funneling areas the head to the main channel or up to the dam. The fish are on the move so that should narrow your time spent on the water.
we’ll have 2 boats of good ol’ boys from Iowa on pool 5 starting wed. through Sun. so I’ll let you guys know whats going on sun. I hope I can pursuade the boys to venture down the river, their awfull fond of the Dam but I hope I can talk them into fishing the cuts I hope we can find them this week. I’m not an expert fisherman like you guys on this website but I’ll do my best. I’ll have a report I hope on Sunday. Later, Firefaus
