Thanks for all the advice for shore fishing down in Pool 4, I’m going to try and check it out this weekend as long as its not 7 degrees out! Until now, I was totally unaware that the Mississippi had a strong walleye population in the twin cities. Had I known that I would have been fishing here all the time! I certainly don’t mind catch and release as thats what I do 90% of the time. Is Pool 2 good for early season walleyes like pool 4? If so, I would like to check it out ASAP. Does anyone have any recommendations where I could fish from shore? I’d be more than happy to fill up an empty seat in a boat as well! Thanks again for all the help!
