The landings are open and in great shape. They had the third one that has been all broken up in the last few years replaced this year so loading and unloading with 3 ramps will save us all some time in the winter months.

There is a $7.00 ramp fee, but it is worth it in the winter months when you are going to fisih the dam area.

Hi everyone. This is Steve Vick, the new manager at Everts Resort. Some of you may know me already as the creel clerk that “hasseled” you to measure your fish the past two years on pool 4. Thanks for all your cooperation!! It was greatly appreciated by me and the MNDNR! I have taken over Bob’s job as the resort manager. We have all three ramps open, a good supply of minnows and tackle including the “hard to find lately” sonar. I will post the ramp conditions this winter to keep you all updated and so on. I’m looking forward to a good winter season as the bite has been REALLY good for a few weeks already. (Today has been fantastic!) As far as the closure goes…..from an earlier post, I understand the river is closed from the dam north 5 miles. Any questions feel free to post a message. Thanks. Steve

Steve you should be out parking trailers or something LOL.

How many rigs did you have put in today? With this weather I am sure you will be busy for the rest of the weekend.

Are the guys doing good on minnows or have crawlers still been putting the better size fish in the boat. Do you have crawlers?

    see ya on sunday.

I recommend Everts resort and landing anytime going to the river. Steve has put in many hours this year getting it all in GREAT shape from last Springs damage. there are cememt ramp structures the whole width of the three ramps and also has ample docking space. they do have a good supply of minnows and I thought the size was very good for this time of year, ( yes size does matter ). see you all on the river. Steve thanks for all the work this year, so we can continue to enjoy this great area all winter. Jack.

Yea, thats me…the guy that asked all the questions!! Thanks for all the compliments on the place guys. The flood really made this a long summer up here. Dustin, nobody has been using crawlers except “a chosen few” lol. All I could get is what I had when you were here. I have some of them left. See ya. Steve Vick (Everts Resort)

Glad I could help Nate. Thanks for the comments. We have really put a lot of time, money, and effort into this place this summer. Things are coming along. I hope to keep making improvements as I learn the ins and outs of the resort business. Thanks again.

Just wondering if you could post directions on how to get to your place via roads. I’ve been by it several times on the water and even stopped in once this summer. We needed to change props and the resort let us borrow tools. Thanks again for that it saved our trip. Also how much parking do you have there. Is there plenty of room for trucks and trailers. Also I was wondering about rates?? Do you offer daily rates or just by the week? Thanks

Hi there. If you’re coming from Red Wing….cross the main channel bridge AND the backchannel bridge. Hang a left right after the second bridge (Mr. Sippi’s bar). go to the stop sign and hang a left. Go about a mile and there will be a sign for “Everts Resort”. Go left there and you’ll drive right into the resort. From the WI side off of 35…..take county rd K to the west and you’ll see the resort sign again. We have plenty of parking for vehicles/trailers. The launch fee is $7 and the rates vary for the cabins depending on how long you stay. We have daily or weekly rates. I’m working with FTR to set up a link to more detailed info on the resort. If you have more questions feel free to call me. 715-792-2333. Thanks.
