where can a body purchase bucktail jigs?

I looked at Gander and they were all 1 oz. ea. Do they make them smaller?

Most local bait shops carry them. Where are you located?

yes Hutch at http://www.riverwalleyes.com gives you great service. the only guy I know that sends you the items you want before you pay for them. Give him a call and he will help you out. Get on his web page and look at his items.

thanks for the tip on Hutch’s Tackle. Unfortunately, I’m going on the river this Saturday and would like to pick some up locally. Galyan’s? Brother’s in Stillwater?

Fleet Farm in Oakdale. Fishing Dept. Was there today at lunch. They had plenty.

Not as nice a bucktail as Hutches, but a bucktail nonetheless! Also, 4-seasons in Redwing usually has a few cards full of bucktails too.

They carry the Griz jig, but in my humble opinion, it is way over-priced.

    Hi Jenn

Just about every Gander Mt. I’ve ever been in carries them. Like Waterfolwer stated, they are horribly over priced though.

Again, my suggestion would be to order some from Hutch. He’s a good guy and if you don’t like his product, he’ll refund the money. He sent me a 100 rings this summer and told me not to pay unless I liked them. Well, the check went out the door the same day. Very satisfied!!

I know the Gander store in Bloomington has some Griz jigs left, not many, but a few if you need them immediately. I would still push you towards Hutch if you don’t need them for a day or two. I think I had my order 2-3 days after it was placed. Good luck!!

ok……the ones i was using were probably not the griz jigs then because you can’t find these at gander mountains….all i know is they were totally cool and pretty unique…..

    thanks for the info though…

waterfowler…i totally agree with you about hutch…haven’t met the guy; but i have heard lots of good things about him, his products, and his fishing….and i’ve seen his jigs… they’re on my “to buy soon” list…but as you can probably relate to, that is an endlessly growing list…thanks for the tips
