Redwing Dam

    Could someone tell me up at the dam, when would you fish the lock side or spillway side, or is one side better most of the time from now till spring?. Thanks

    Hi Phillip

    To be honest, I wouldn’t suggest you spend much time on either side for quite some time yet. Right now you’re looking at sorting for eater saugers and the very occassional decent walleye. Later in the year is better. Look downstream for better action now.

    When the fish are up to the dam, both sides are quite good.
