The barge lake is an excellent spot now for nice saugers, start by north shore point and work at about a 45 degree angle moving slowly to the south west. Lawrence

The barge lake or bay is right in Prairie its where the barges park to unload right on the north end of town. If you go in at north park(feriole island- ya I know it isn’t spelled right) ramp(it’s teeny) and go north 100 yards and to the right you’re there. Be real careful going north there is or was very shallow water on your left and a couple of shallow humps on the right I don’t pay a lot of attention but I think about 75 feet from shore is best, path up to bay entrance.
