Pepin Help

    Spending the weekend at Camp Locrupolis. New at fishing and pepin! Would really appreciate any advice on what to use, where to be to find some walleyes!

    Welcome to site upjudd. Lots of river info here.Ussually when I go to Pepin in the summer I troll the flats.Deer island and Maiden Rock are my favorites

    I stay at camp lacupolis quite often. I will not be there this weekend but there should be many to help you out there. I do know that deer island and Maiden rock is a pretty good boat ride from the bottom end of the lake. Right across from camp I know alot of people do good on three ways and minnows out by the red bouy. you should be able to follow the boats and pick up on stuff pretty quick.

    Deer Island is at end of the lake on the Wis side, short boat ride… and there are almost alway saugars there in the summer!! Good luck
